Based in Scotland, we specialise in iconic 1980s and 1990s Fords — especially the Ford Escort XR3i, RS Turbo, and the Fiesta XR2 — helping car lovers relive the golden era of hot hatches.
We believe classic cars should be driven, enjoyed, and shared — not just stored away. That’s why our platform offers a unique combination of shared ownership, competitions and buying & selling services to help enthusiasts at every level get closer to the cars they love.

  Our Story & Expertise
Founded and operated by Stephen Wilson, a lifelong car enthusiast with over 27 years’ experience in business and financial services.
For the past two decades, I’ve been involved in the retro classic car scene — watching it grow, tracking car values, and owning a number of 80s classics myself. I’ve always been especially drawn to fast Fords and believe now is the perfect time to open up access to these cars in new and exciting ways.
As prices rise and availability tightens, owning and maintaining these classics outright is becoming increasingly difficult. That’s where Eighties Car Crowd comes in: offering flexible access through shared ownership, rentals, and sales — helping both new and seasoned enthusiasts enjoy the thrill of these legendary cars.
